What is Momentum?
Have you ever seen a car go over a speed bump? Or seen ball go over a pile of papers that seem to tall for it? Or a skateboarder jump on a rail? Why does this happen? It is because of something called momentum. Momentum is Mass in motion. There are two things that show momentum: how much stuff is in something and how fast that thing is going and the direction its going. These two thing are also called mass (How much stuff one object can hold) and velocity (speed + direction.) The amount of momentum goes up, when the mass or the velocity goes up.
